福井県小浜市に所縁ある画家・ヴァイオリニスト 小西淳子氏の挿し絵展。

２０２０年３月末に約１０年の歳月をかけて完成した 福井県小浜市宮川地区の地誌『宮川の歴史 追補版』。

その第７章「地区発展に寄与した人々」に掲載された１９名の方に挿し絵を添えました。

それぞれの方の人生や人となりに思いを馳せつつ、宮川地区における四季折々の美しい風景を柔らかな色彩で描き上げた原画１９枚と、それぞれの人物紹介の展示です。

その他、「美術の森」今月号に掲載した作品や小作品などもご覧いただけます。

また会場内では、ヴァイオリニスト 小西淳子・大西秀明のＣＤ「海辺のヴァイオリン」も発売中です。
